York

Went to York yesterday. Popped into the York Tap, somewhat less busy than it's opening night. Had a fantastic chilli beer. Then we went to a fantastic place called The House of Trembling Madness. This place is grand, the building dates from the days of Henry II, with the beams being made from ships from around that time. There is a great beer shop ground floor, whiskey shop downstairs, and a bar and restaurant upstairs. Taxidermy everywhere with the beams and all that goodness, had goose, duck, venison and ham, yum. Spent way too much in the beer shop, then back to the Tap. Huzzah!
